ThermoNox® GmbH

Privacy policy

This privacy policy informs you about the nature, scope and purpose of the processing of personal data on our website. Personal data is any data that can be used to identify you personally.

1. Controller

The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
ThermoNox® GmbH, Hauptstraße 1, 85296 Fahlenbach, Germany
Phone: +49 8442 8823, email: info@thermonox.de

2. Hosting and server log files

Our website is operated by a hosting provider in Germany with whom we have concluded a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. When you visit our website, your browser automatically transmits information that is stored in so-called server log files:

  • page or file requested
  • date and time of access
  • amount of data transferred
  • referrer URL (previously visited page)
  • browser and operating system used
  • IP address

Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR and our legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website. Log files are deleted after 14 days at the latest unless they are needed to investigate a specific security incident.

3. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” and the lock symbol in your browser’s address bar.

4. No cookies, no tracking

We do not use cookies, analytics or marketing tools, or third-party content on this website. Fonts and all other resources are loaded directly from our own server; no connection to third-party servers (e.g. Google) is established.

5. Enquiry form and contact by email or phone

If you contact us via the enquiry form, by email or by phone, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, company, contact details, information about the site and your message) solely to handle your enquiry. The form data is sent to us by email and is not stored in a database on the web server.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your enquiry aims at concluding or performing a contract, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). If you are a private customer and would like us to forward your enquiry to an authorised pest control specialist near you, we do so only at your request in order to fulfil your enquiry. Your data will be deleted once your enquiry has been fully processed, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

To protect against spam we use an invisible check field and a time check; no additional personal data is collected and no third-party services are involved.

6. External links

Our website contains links to websites of other providers. Data is only transmitted to the respective provider when you click on such a link; the respective provider is responsible for its data processing.

7. Your rights

Subject to the statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to

  • access your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR),
  • rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
  • erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
  • restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
  • data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
  • withdraw consent with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR),
  • lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR); the authority responsible for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)

Where we process your data on the basis of legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR), you have the right to object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then no longer process the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, or the processing serves to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

An informal message to the contact details above is sufficient to exercise your rights.

8. Storage period

We store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention periods (e.g. under commercial and tax law).
